my basset hound has heart worms are their any treatments that last up to 6months
he has seen a vet he has to get over a aputated/broken tail first
Most of the packages are geared for 6 months, even though it may be a pill a month. Heartguard is the most popular brand.
After the treament, then he needs to be put on Heartguard…it PREVENTS heartworm…

Oops I misread, if he HAS them now, take him to a vet. You can’t fix it with a pill and it’s likely he will die without treatment from a vet.
