In my opinion if you take away some ones right to live- you don’t deserve the right either.

Yes I agree it should be brought back. But not just for murderers but for rapists aswell.

Well the person getting done for murder shouldn’t get the chance to decide that the person they killed should have been dead or not ??? but I believe the person should suffer and rout in jail

some would say killing a murderer is just making yourself as bad as the murderer.

I disagree, if they think it’s alright to kill someone they should think it’s alright for them to be killed.

but then what if you hang someome, then find out it wasn’t them???

Yes, thats one problem. Killing an innocent man. The rule could be only killing them if you have sufficient evidence and they plead guilty.

But at the same time, I think they should suffer aswell- jail sentace then death sentance after so many years

ok, you’re right, instant death isn’t suffering, not at all compared to the amount caused by murder.

so even if you do have sufficient evidence, what happens if more evidence comes to light twenty years later, when people aren’t afraid to talk to the police??

however I still believe the death sentence should be brought back, but only for special cases. I believe torture should also be used on murderers. If it turn out it wasn’t them, they can always be compensted.

Yes, there is so many “ifs” and “buts” with something like this. Properly why it got changed in the first place.

I do believe in “what goes around comes around” and you should get what you deserve.

Technically when you put someone in jail for the rest of their life you do take away their right to live. so rather (my opinion) bring back the death sentence rather then letting the murderers waste their lives on taxpayers money.

I really think the death sentence is wrong. And it doesn’t make much sense.

They basically say, “We’re killing you because you killed someone. And killing people is wrong.” How is killing them showing them that it’s wrong to kill people? Doesn’t make sense to me.

No one wants to be killed do they? So you kill someone you will be killed… That’s there way of frighting people from killing others, which never worked!
