Why can't companies test on death row inmates instead of animals?

Instead of animal testing or execution of crimes…why can’t we use inmates that are on death row and give them to companies for them to test on?

Answer #1

Because that would be cruel and inhumane. It would be torture. And we need to purport the varnish of our hipocrite double standards in order to not feel bad about ourselves.

Answer #2

It’s also cruel and inhumane to do so on animals

Answer #3

True. But give a monkey a brain and he’ll swear he’s the center of the universe. So: Humans life is more valuable than animal life. There may be no logic in that but it’s still common sense of all human societies to believe just that.

Answer #4

It’s a matter of ethics really. Animal testing is one thing, but testing on humans is a whole other. Testing on humans is done but with a person’s consent and often paid. Testing on terminally ill patients are also done with dru.gs pertaining to the patient’s illness. I believe there are laws stating that medical testing on human beings must be done with consent so therefore an inmate cannot be ordered to participate. On top of that, human medical experimenting is often cruel and painful and considered inhumane.

Answer #5

I agree with Janjan. I mean don’t get me wrong, there are some people that deserve it, but at the end of the day it would be crossing a line. An eye for an eye leaves us all blind, especially when it comes to testing on live prisoners.

The Nazis did the same thing to prisoners in the death-camps; in their eyes the Jews deserved to be there, and they thought they were advancing human science. Justify it all you want, it’s barbarism.

Testing can be torture, torture should not be a part of a civilised society.

Answer #6

Now suppose the person inprisoned after 16 years, were to have been found innocent of the crime. Does that human deserve to have his rights removed and his health transformed upon his release of oops we made a mistake? You have much to learn about the judicial system of law before posing such a question. And I do feel for animals but sacrificing one for the other isn’t an answer and would certainly lead to abuses of the human kind.

Answer #7

I have to agree with Rotten sheep…Humans rule the planet and everything in it….Take a look around ..there lies the debate
