Is authentic ramen noodles bad for you?

I’m not talking about that packaged crap you buy at the grocery store. I’m talking about the authentic Japanese or Korean cooking.

Answer #1

Yes there’s lots of sodium in them.

Answer #2

The instant stuff is bad for you, but real ramen is fine for you it isn’t greasy and is quite healthy, but it is high in carbohydrates.

Answer #3

Like Janicee said, the instant type or ramen isn’t great. A fair amount of fat (often saturated or trans fats) is used in the manufacture process. Ramen is a wheat noodle but there are other types of noodles used in Asian cooking. Rice and buckwheat noodles are both a very tasty change of pace and are healthier than instant noodles.
