What are some interesting ideas for ramen noodles?

I have a bunch of ramen noodles but no packets to go with them and i dont want to just eat them plain so what are some ideas i can do to make my ramen more flavorful?

Answer #1

You could use whatever kind of broth you have laying around. If you want it to taste Asian add some soy sauce, dry sherry, garlic, and chili sauce if you like them spicy. You could strain the noodles and serve with stir fried vegetables. You could put curry power or paste on them.

Answer #2

all sound like terrific ideas DX but i have none of that to use =/

Answer #3

Okay you HAVE to do this: Make the noodles like normal, drain the water, put some oil in a frying pan, and heat it up then put the noodles in. Not too hot or they will stick, put the dial at about 3/4. Move them around for like 5 mins until they are a light golden colour. While you are moving them around, add some salt if you’d like. This. Is. So. YUMMY!

Someone on here made a tip saying try it with egg in it.. like put an egg in when it’s almost done in the micro.. it sounds yummy to me, haven’t tried it yet though

Answer #5

Any bouillon cubes? flavoring them with bouillon would be better than nothing.

Answer #6

no =(

Answer #7

Boil the noodle in water, drain it. Minced some garlic and cook in hot olive oil for about 15 seconds, add any vegies you like (celery, broccoli, etc.), add ramen noodle, drizzle with some oyster sauce and mix them all up.

Answer #8

I like to put tuna or chicken into mine. I also throw some scrambled eggs in there, dip toast in the broth, put chopped onions in, etc. I also strain them and put green beans in them. They’re so goood. <3

Answer #9

Ever heard of oyster sauce? It tastes nothing like oyster, but is delicious. Cook your noodles the normal way throwing in an near the end of cooking, then drain them and mix in the oyster sauce. It is so good! I crave it all the time. And if you like spicy, add spicy soy sauce as well :D

Answer #10

I wait till the noodles are half way cooked in the mcrowave, drain half the water, and let the noodles sit and absorb all the water for like a couple minutes. Then add the powder flavor stuff and cover it in hot sauce and add a little salt :) so yummy!

Answer #11
