Methods for managing my anger?

how can I control my anger better? I can keep it down more than usually but when I really get heated I can’t think straight and I need to know how I can stay calm or get rid of my anger without hurting anyone?

p.s. punching pillows and deep breaths do not work

I dont punch pillows… I stab them… sometime I would call this number and scream into the phone and let everything out… 497 036 9389…you can scream at the moose in norway(I think) lol =) take care gorgeous

just go upstairs to your room and close your eyes or join a martial arts club it does help to take deep breaths for most people but my advice is join a martial arts club like boxing or ujitsu or karate trust me it worked for my friend

I agree with efcgirl my friend’s lil brother has trouble controling his anger & hes also adhd so they put him in karate

Sounds like you need to sign up for an anger management class. Contact your local health care facility and they should be able to refer you to a professional who can help you.

I would not recommend call random numbers and screaming into the phone. Caller ID might get you busted by the police, in which case the courts may order you into anger management classes :)

It sounds like your anger issues arise from something more than just little anoying situations.

Has something happened in your life that makes you harbour resentment? Take some time to think over your life - even something from childhood can well up inside of you and make you angry without you realizing it.

Once you find what your trigger is, you’ll be better able to deal with your temper.
