Am I to young?

ok so im 13 and I feel like im not that in shape…I took tumbling got a rock hard stomach about one year ago and now its only rock hard when I flex really hard…now I have a little belly fat…my weight its what bugs me the most im like 5’2 and I weigh 115…my mom says its all that muscle I got when I did tumbling…I have a goal to run at least every other day…but I barley go half a mile (I started like 4 days ago lol)…I want to work out but I dont know what to do and where… or am I to young?

There’s nothing wrong with working out to be healthy, but don’t do it to manage weight. [Small Fyi: Muscles weight more than fat do. A lean, buff guy could weigh more than an out-of-shape fat guy. Interesting, yes?] :-)

Being fit is no crime! I don’t think you should be trying to lose weight though. You shouls be fit and able to do what you like but don’t try to lose any pounds because you’re at a normal weight! You are healthier than I was at your age!

If you are 5foot2 and weight about 115pounds then you are just the right size for your hight.

I personally think your to young to be taking this as seriously as it seems you are. The weight your at is not bad at all but if your not compfortable with it then yes work out but dont go to extremes. If your stomach is the only thing that bothers you than do 30 crunches every morning before school and when you go to bed. Your still young and you still need to have fun. Dont let this consume your mind.

omg your way too young to worry about your weight start worrying when your in your 30s you still have a fast metobelism at age 13 so eat as much as you like while you can dont stress urself out over that subject now k take my advice if you like your still young
