All of this stress.
I have so much stress in my life right now, my parents are trying to get me to think about what I want to do inlife and im only 13, I have sooo much school work to do and im turnign it in all late and getting bad grades.I cant stop stressing, I think I get it from my mom because she gets stressed a lot.
I really want it to stop,is there anything I can do, or take somethign o stop me from getting stressed so much!?
The trick that worked for me is to do one thing at a time. I make a list of things that need to get done and then scratch them off before I do anything else like talk on the phone or watch tv. Do you find you are running out of time at night? Is there time during the day you could be crossing stuff off so you have more free time to enjoy? Can you spare an hour a day on the weekends to take the pressure off and keep you caught up? Does your school have after or before school tutoring?
As for your parents, tell them that you are still exploring your options because you want to be sure that you are choosing correctly. If that fails, make something up. You can always change your mind later.
Also, have a bedtime ritual. At a certain time each night take a bath and moisturize and brush your teeth then go right to bed. This will help you get better sleep which will help with your stress.
I used to go through the same thing. it is a part of life. Go for a hike in the woods it helps. don’t take pills. there is more to life then school work.
You need to find natural ways to deal with your stress, without medication.
If you can’t handle life at 13, you’re going to be toast when you’re an adult and the real stress happens.
I have the same problem… I’m a super stressed person…
When it comes to school I stay up all night instead of handing assignments in late… Also for your school work, try to make a schedule to do it… it helps a lot… and try to get it done as SOON as you get it don’t procrastonate.
I go for 3hour runs EVERYday just to work the stress out of my system… You just need to find something that relaxes you… a hot bath, running, yoga, etc… Theres lots of ways to deal with it… Don’t resort to meds unless you ABSOLUTLEY have to they mess with your body…
Also I agree with ichiabnarky, your only 13… Stress gets sooo much worse as you get older… If you have this much now you’ll be like pulling your hair out by the time your 20…
