Am I addicted to chocolate and how to stop?

I think im addicted to chocolate. I crave it all the time. I was wondering what my body is lacking that it craves it so much. and how to become unaddicted.

Answer #1

Well, it’s sugar! Your body usually craves sugar from time-to-time, or like you, it seems like non-stop. You can eat chocolate with limited intake, but you must exercise enough so you don’t gain any excess fat or weight. If you’re not worried about gaining weight, still be cautious, because eating too much chocolate can cause Heart disease, Diabetes, obesity, etc. Enjoy that craving every once in a while-but don’t overdo it. To keep your mind of of that obnoxious sweet tooth, maybe hang out with your friends, or get out of the house, and enjoy sports. If you sit on the couch a lot with not much exercise, you’re brain or YOU may want to eat to keep yourself occupied. But like I said, enjoy yourself time-to-time, but limit how many sweets you eat, you only live one time! Also-if you want a healthier approach, try something like Dark-Chocolate, or reduced sugar or fat.

Answer #3

caffeine, and sugar is most likely why you feel you are addicted to chocolate. try doing a body cleanse, cutting down on your sugar intake, and if you begin to get headaches from it try drinking a glass of tea (hot or cold no sugar added) to help compensate for the caffeine withdraw, excedrin would help as well since it contains caffeine.
