I don’t, i live with two other people and i don’t want t deprive them of it. But thank you anyways, i can see you took a really long time to think of this smart and brilliant answer.

Have a special “You” Cuboard. I have no experience with addiction, but here’s what I think would work:

The ‘You’ Cuboard contains all the chocolate you are going to allow yourself to eat in that week. when it’s gone, it’s gone, no more–if you cave and buy more within the week after the chocolate is gone for that week, punish yourself with a ‘no tv’ or something along those lines.

Basically..try to even out the chocolate you eat in the week; say you have three bars for a week, eventually you’re going to learn how to evenly space those three bars out so you have a good amount each day, you know? And then, when you’re comfortable with that and steady with it, try making it two and a half bars for a week–get it?

Gradually, maybe you’ll have one bar a week! Or less :) It’s not going to happen overnight, so don’t worry too much, stress isn’t going to help.

Oh, and also– next time you go to your doctor, ask them about it! Maybe they can help you figure out a better plan than the “You” cuboard :)

Answer #10

stop eating the chocolate a little bit at a time after a while, you’ll be over with chocolate

Answer #11

Chocolate contains a substance called theobromine which makes people feel good. This effect is subtle but definitely exists. Chocolate is not terribly addictive but people can become habitualized to the slight mood elevation it provides. Chocolate in moderation is healthy. It lowers blood pressure and contains lots of flavinols and antioxidants. Instead of getting rid of chocolate I’d recommend cutting your consumption to < 2 oz/day and eating dark chocolate, the higher the percentage of cocoa the healthier. 70% is the my favorite strength of chocolate. 85% is too bitter for me but some chocolate lovers prefer it. If you need a sweet dark chocolate 55% is still far healthier than milk chocolate.
