a body question on flab

I recently lost a lot of weight, and now I’ve got loose skin and what others have called flab. is there any way I could lose this flab, such as regaining weight then lose it in a longer period of time?

Answer #1

try to tone up, you arent overweight now but you still have flab, or if you lost a lot, strechmarks and flaps of skin tone up by doing crunches and stuff, so you dont have that flab

Answer #2

Skin does shrink over time but generally we loose weight faster than our skin’s ability to shrink so we often have flab after significant weight loss. Also the older you are when you loose weight the less your skin will recover to its prvious tightness.

amblessed is right that sometimes it can be surgically removed. This surgery is considered cosmetic so it generally isn’t covered by insurance.

Answer #3

Generally, any excessive would have to be surgically removed…Take care !!
