Maybe fun to do a 50’s party - everyone could dress wild - bring their own hoola-hoop - have hotdogs and hamburgers, YUM !!

Wooohooo Sweet 16 Happy Bday!! Well, you could plan a bbq thats potluck style in a park or your home. You could rent some space in a restaurant or hall or country club and have it catered w/your favorite food/music/spritzers. That may require a bit of money though and I know you said inexpensive. A dress up party would b fun. Send invites through email with evite and name the place/date/dress code etc…could make it prom style or 50’s style or complete formal attire etc…The point is to just have good fun and have your closest friends around you for that day. Enjoy urself and keep it simple but elegant. Take lots of pix! Its your party and your special day. Make sure you do what you want because it makes it more memorable and exciting.

Figure about 10 dollars per person that shows up, on average, for food + bbq supplies. Then you have “party favors” that usually run between 3-10 dollars per person (or more, depending) though those are usually only given to the “kids” not the adults for the party.

So in total for fifty people, assuming 1/2 are kids…the cost would be about 325 at the low end, and 500 at the high end.

Cake, decorations, etc, will run another 300+ depending on what you consider makes sense, etc, eg 3d cakes cost a lot more, but look way better.
