What are some alien-themed food ideas for a 3 year old's birthday party?

My nephew, Riven, wants an alien party … we need ideas for alien-style food.

Anyone?

Answer #1

Alien faced cupcakes or UFO woopie pies. You could probably make those. I’m sure there are recipes out there.

Answer #2

Or you can get green punch or koolaid. That could be really cool and you could make star cookies or rice crispy treats and make them into shapes. Maybe let the kids mold them!

Answer #3

Green macaroons detailed with icing to look like the aliens out of toystory, flying saucer sweeties to look like flying saucers, you could dust some of the snacks with popping candy, You oculd make a green elly and put little plastic eyeballs in it, you could even look up some haloween treats and you might get some ideas.

Ah what an awesome party! For his birthday cake you could make a round cake, with grey icing and have it as the moon, then make heaps of cupcakes and ice them like UFOs and sit them around and on the ‘moon’ complete with alien lollies (you could even put a wee flag in the moon lol). You could go two ways with the food ideas though.. it kind of depends on how old your nephew is but if he’s around the 9-12 y/o age he might like a freaky alien party with foods like green spaghetti & meatballs (food colouring), you could make sausages look like fingers, and cookies look like spaceships etc. You could paint balloons to look like planets to be strung around the house and have a treasure hunt type game with planet/universe themed clues. If he’s a bit younger you could go with things like green and black jellybeans and m&ms or omg make alien shaped ginger bread men!! FUN! Aw I wish I was attending this party. I’ll message you if I think of anything else during the day.

Answer #5

Oh just read ‘3 year old’ hahahaha. Okay ignore the other stuff I said and go with the alien gingerbread men!

Answer #6

Omg make ice blocks with like green and purple skittles in them, you know those ice block plastic moulds you can get where you fill it up with juice and put a stick in it and put it in the freezer?! Yes well get them (or empty yoghurt pots) and fill them up with water, add juice flavouring, and add things like berries and skittles as ‘alien brains’ and freeze them! You could even put green food colouring in them too! But somehow I think your nephew and his friends are going to end up with green mouths by the end of the party haha.
