how long should I wai tbefore seeing a doctor?

Since I’m not a medical practitioner, I can’t answer with any authority. I would say give it a couple of days, unless it becomes unbearable.

If the sensitivity goes away - especially if you start your period soon - then it was probably a temporary thing (growing pains or period). However you are at the age where you should be seeing a family practitioner or an Ob-Gyn for an exam and a pap smear. So even if the discomfort goes, it still may be time to make an appointment. (Especially if you are or may become sexually active. And you are in that age group.) I know, yuck. I feel the same way, but I go twice a year for physicals. Good Luck!! Jim

(I hope this gets to you. I’ve never responded this way before!)
