Should I see a doctor about my period?

My period, for the past like 5 or 6 months has been lasting 8-10 days, consistently. It comes every month though at the same time. It just lasts way too long. Is this like a medical problem that I should go to the doctor about or is it really just nothing?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I had the same problem and my doctor said that as long as there are 28 days between periods (from the STARTof your period to the STARTof your next period) it’s ok. But if you’re worried you should go to the doctor.

Good luck

I think your pretty normal…maybe your mom was like you…when you get older consider the pill but don’t take it for a long time…not good for you…and don’t take it for the obvious reasons…not a ticket to sex…you can still get stds

It could be nothing - its just how your body is. Some people have their period for 3-4 days and others have it for 9-10 days. If you are really worried about it though, you could go see the doctor anyways just to be on the safe side.

mine was like that at first, but now, it lasts 3 days every other month. if you feel that you need to, go ahead, but its really not nessesary.
