What could be wrong with my bunnies?

Hi. I really need some help some help. My vet is not helping me what so ever with treating them either. I am not going to lie i have a lot of bunnies and fell in love with them all. They aren’t used for breeding so don’t get mad. Most are spayed and all are neutered. Well Lizzie my 3 year old mini lop has a lot of hairloss especially on her face, side, and ears. I cannot see in her ears, but i assumed she had ear mites. Thumper my 1 year old rabbit had a bloody ear, and i looked in and garentee’d he had ear mites. So i called my vet who looked at Thumper clarified that he had ear mites, and looked at Lizzie he couldn’t figure out why she was losing hair. He thought she had ear mites too. He told me put the ear mite med on her skin as well as all my bunnies ears, it would kill any kind of mites. Well her skin problems are getting a lot worst. She is losing hair, but with no skin irritation, and looks terrible. I had got her from a bunny mill 2 weeks ago… could she be pregnant and pulling hair from her face?? Or what? Im scared to lose her.

Rabbits lose hair for a lot of reasons. Three major reasons for females are 1. Because she is under a lot of stress 2. She is pregnant and 3. Because she has mites. Seeing the doctor put her one meds and it got worse that is eliminated so you may want to consider the stress and the pregnancy. Seeing she was removed from a bunny mill (which is just as bad if not worse than a puppy mill) she may be very stressed about the move and environment change. If she is pregnant you should still do what I am about to say. Take her and seperate her for a about a week or two from the others make sure she has plenty of food water bedding hay etc. If you want to play with her make sure it isn’t in a place with a lot of noise. After that two weeks start introducing her to the other rabbits. Make sure play sessions are for only 10 to 15 minutes and slowly make it to an hour little by little. if she is still removing hair it may be happening due to pregnancy and u may want to keep her away from others until she strips herself away from them.
