Is there something wrong with the way my brain functions or is it the way the teacher teaches?

In math class I learned about box and whisker a few months ago, and the teacher gave us Spring Break work, and in the packet there was a box and whisker problem. When I used the information the teacher gave me I was completely confused, but I searched around on some informal websites, and found my way through the problem with a breeze. I understand it now after all those months of not knowing. I know I don’t have problems, so could it be how the teacher is teaching?

If the teacher teaches you how to do it, and you don’t get its fine. Every child grows in their own way. Each and everyone of us learns differently. Just ask her again if ou don’t get it. Or ask another teacher, parent, or an adult you trust and know. Teachers teach how they know how to teach it, if one kid doesn’t understand it. Theres bound to be another. Just be happy who you are.

Okay, thanks and the teacher isn’t a lady. I think he doesn’t really know how teach, but that’s a whole different story. Anyway thanks, for a second I thought I wasn’t smart enough to understand the stuff being taught.

Answer #3

Oh my bad all my teachers are mostly girls. Don’t doubt yourself, just remember your not the only one out there that feels this way. Keep on trying your hardest in school.

Answer #4

Do you expect a teacher to teach things in 50 different ways? If you can’t keep up, you go do what you did, which is research it on your own. Unless this is his first year teaching, or he keeps getting fired for not being able to teach, that is probably not the problem.

your teacher and your brain…

Answer #6

Alright thanks for your help, I know what it is it’s the way he teaches, he just throws the information on a screen, and gives us worksheets to do so I guess it’s him.
