Is there something wrong with me for not...?

liking North Carolina? I cannot stand living here, but everyone who lives here likes it, so I’m starting to think that something is wrong with me for not liking it. I like the Northeast more, but then I see some people from the NE moving to NC, and then I think that I’m wrong for wanting to move back.

Theres nothing wrong with you - some people may like the state, some may just be comfortable there because its what they are used to. Just because you were raised somewhere doesnt always mean its tthe right place for you to be.

It’s not always about what others like. I find that most people move to places where their friends or families live, just because they live there. And yes, that is fine, but that should not be the major reason. If you’re not happy there, go to a place where you will be happy. Life is too short to be waking up miserable every morning.

I moved from Florida to Durham, NC about a year ago, and I don’t like it too much either. It’s too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer.
