What is wrong with my car ?

I know this issue prob doesnt fit in the category I put it in but I didnt know where else it could go. Anyway.. I was just wondering if anybody might know what is wrong with my car. I have a ‘96 pontiac sunfire. For as many miles as it has on it, it has been running excellent until the other day. My check engine light came on and tonight when I started it, I noticed it was running faster than usual. Also, when I was driving as I stepped on the gas pedal, it felt as though it was dragging and I also heard something kinda rattling towards the passanger back side I think. So, anyone have any ideas of what could possibly be wrong with it? Its my first car and I love it, I really dont want it to die on me!! lol.. that and I cant afford another car right now…

The check engine light usually means something is wrong in the engine area. It is usually something like a sensor that has gone bad. Take it to an auto repair facility. They have a machine that reads the car’s computer so can usually tell pretty fast and accurately what the problem is and what it is going to cost you to get it repaired.
