Is something wrong with me for not liking North Carolina?

I am originally from Brooklyn, but have mainly lived in Pennsylvania. We moved to North Carolina in 2006, and we hate it here. We have given it a chance; we’ve been here five and a half years, and we started out liking it, but now, I hate living here. I don’t really like Southern culture, but most transplants from the NE seem to like it. I know that COL is probably cheaper here, and slower pace of life, etc. so am I wrong for wanting to move from here just because I don’t like it? It’s never really felt like home, and I miss NY and PA. I think I’m wrong because people move here all the time for northern states saying how cheap it is, and supposedly better.

There is nothing wrong with knowing the difference between the things that you like and the things that you don’t like. Only about 3% of the population of the USA live in North Carolina, ….. . ….. while almost 97% of the population choose to live elsewhere in the States. Dare I suggest that they can’t all be wrong? . Get wise, move back where you belong. .
