Would it be worth to go back to the specialist?

Last year, Not exactly sure how, I ripped the achilles Tendant halfway off its place. I ended up going to a Podiatric Specialist who advised me to switch jobs to get off my feet and he stuck me in a fracture boot/ walking cast to keep my foot in one position. I am now sitting in an office for work, and wore the cast for 4 months last year. A few days ago, I was in my kitchen and my foot turned a weird way and an ever so familiar pain shot through me. I KNOW I did it again, I KNOW that once again it is torn. They will not sit me in for surgery for the damage is not extensive, but besides cortisone shots- which did not work the last time, he was able to do or say nothing. I am almost considering putting the cast back on (yep, still have it)…

Not exactly sure what to do.

If you’re having pain, the see the specialist - it’s their job to treat you.
