How has the financial markets affected you? See any changes at your bank and what are you doing about it?
Bank of America is one of the banks that did not go crazy on insane loans, and they recently (last week) agreed to buy Merryl Lynch, one of those that did go crazy.
However, even still, I keep wondering if I shouldn't just pull out & join a local credit union or something where I can get a report down to the last nickel on how secure my money would be.
The last bank (years ago) I had was Washington Mutual, and given the news, boy am I glad I stopped doing business with them.
