Will my young Shih Tzu be a good mother?

I HAVE A SHITZU FEMALE SHE IS 10 MONTHS OLD AND HAS FALLEN PREGNANT ON HER FIRST CYCLE. I AM VERY WORRIED.SHE IS HEALTHY BUT WILL SHE STRUGGLE TO GIVE BIRTH AND WILL SHE HAVE THE INSTINCT TO FEED THEM.

I have my shitzu shes now pregnant is it necessary to take her a bath while shes pregnant or not allowed? because she has smell now…please help me

the first litter you should watch her and make sure she doesn’t roll over on one of the puppies or step on one of them and make sure she doesn’t reject one and that they are all getting fed/ if you have any questions you can just email me because my mom used to bred dogs and my job was taking care of the puppies

dont worry she’ll be fine and yes she will care for her pups so yeah dont worry just make sure you feed her and make sure theres always water and also just give her lots of love and attention and she will be one happy momma!! :)

Well…at least I can tell from your question that you care about your pup, and you have the understanding that this wasn’t the best possible scenerio for your girl…Unfortunately, accidents happen…

She will probably do fine…and yes, she will have the instinct to feed them…Make sure you take extra care with her nutrition, as she’s just a puppy, too…and needs extra for herself as well as the puppies growing inside her.
