Why is my World of Warcraft so slow?

Why is my game of World of Warcraft so slow? I have seen others play on their computers and it seemed fine. Is it my memory or my video card? Or should I switch servers? Or is it my older 1.8gb processor with 1gb of RAM? My dwarf hunter is suffering until I get into somewhere like a cave where the graphics speed up.

To play WoW with a decent framerate you need to have a good video card and lots of RAM. I recommend at least two GB of RAM and a GeForce 7900/Radeon 1900 or better video card. If you are playing using integrated Graphics (built into the motherboard)such as Nvidia 6100/6150, or any of the Intel Extreme chips your gameplay is going to suffer greatly. Generally you will need to spend at least 75-100 dollars minimum for a decent Video card for WoW. In the meantime you can reduce the graphics effects in your game menu and play it at 1024x768 x16 bit Color (High color) resolution.
