Would a wireless router work with an old desktop?

I have an old desktop, and I am not sure if a wireless router would work on it since it’s old. Also, it doesn’t have much space left on it. Does it matter if it is old or new?

I want to hook the wireless router up to the desktop for my new laptop, so I can get internet without an ethernet cord.

Answer #1

I think it depends on the desktop. You might have to get a wireless card for it.

If your desktop is old, i don’t think you have any option for wireless routers . Many features are absent in old systems and you may have to upgrade your computer
