Why in just 250 years?
Why do you think that in just 250 years of existence, the United States of America has become the greatest, most powerful, most generous, most advanced country in human history ?
because it consist of so many narionalities and very different ways of thinking by everyone that participates to make the country better and better
I think it would be better to check who the sources are for: “ the greatest, most powerful, most generous, most advanced.” After seeing other parts of the world, I’ve met several others who would disagree with these sentiments. In fact, I know other countries that would boast the same things. I say consider your sources, and really analyze the facts. Internationally, the opinion is that Ireland is one of the best places to live. Whether I agree with this or not, a good place to start is: why do other people feel that Ireland is such a good place to live?
PUERTO RICO JOINED??? MAKES IT SEEM LIKE THEY WERE ASKED TO JOIN A CLUB OR SOMETHING…WHEN THE MARINES LANDED IN VIEQUES THEY RAN PEOPLE OFF THEIR PROPERTY AND DIDNT REALLY GIVE THEM TIME TO RELOCATE AND OFFERED THEM DIRT FOR THEIR LITTLE HOMES. THEY TOOK OVER THE ISLAND AND DESTROYED IT…JOINED…THAT’S LAUGHABLE…
the U.S. unlike other countries has a very open minded constitution, and what i mean by open minded is that they’re willing to accept new laws and ideas from the people who’re willing to speak out in the country. The way we as a country are willing to accept other people and how they think is what makes the country unique or rather the first of it’s kind. In fact, Puerto Rico joined the union because they agreed with the United State’s constitution which is all it takes for a nation to become apart of our country. I’m not exactly a patriot or anything but I do like my country, it’s the land of opportunity as is said, education is free, higher education comes with a cost but the option is available. The country has grown from it’s mistakes and taken on great ideas such as, eliminating slavery, women’s rights/women’s right to vote, and just how people will band together to invent things… I believe that’s what makes the U.S. such a prominent country not saying other countries don’t share the same aspects just that it may not be as wide range and it may not have as much of an outward effect on the world.
