Why god dont answer?

The 15 year old son of this very good and humble preacher in a protestant church in my town recently died of Leukemia. For the two prior years before his dead there was an inmense amount of praying that was done at the church and at different locations in the community. All the praying was done for this boy to be healed. Some people cried and prayed very truthfully and heartfelt prayers.

Well, he was never healed and only got worse and eventually died. At his funeral the preacher was truly thankful to everyone but said that it was God’s Plan

Why do Christians or other religions do this? If God has a plan and already planned every single day of your life from birth to death, why then all these people at that church prayed. Why did the preacher waited till his son died to let people know that God has a plan? He could’ve just said on the day his song was diagnosed, My son has cancer but there is no need to pray for a cure because God has a plan and it doesn’t matter what we pray, how hard we pray, God has already decided what will happen so lets just be happy regardless what the outcome is

Praying to cure the cancer or any illness is a waste. God plans for you to die, so you will die. He has pre-programmed the exact time of your death. There is nothing you can do to change the plan – no amount of prayer will help – because your death will have meaning and your death will cause side-effects that are also part of the plan.

Ok the best way to describe god seeming god cannot be comprehened or labled, the best way to say it is god is life, or more specifically the essence of life, words and languages have no effect on god because they were things we as humans created to contact other humans,

God works in mysterious ways. If he closes the door on you, some way he opens a window. No one can prove God’s existance in this life. It’s a faith that you believe. The first posting above about God being a spirit is correct.

gods not a human…he I a spirit and dsnt need sleep…u may think god dsnt hear you but he hears all prayers…he may not answer your prayers b/c you don’t have faith or what you want to happen is no in his plans for you…yeaa people die of things every day but at least thy are in a better place w/o any pain of suffering

I don’t believe it either. There are millions of kids with incurable cancers, they pray and nothing happens, they still die in pain.

God is NOT human He is a spirit , He can see EVERYTHING even when people hide in the dark or under a rock he can see EVERYTHING at all times , he can do this because he is The One & Only True God, He has no end nor a begginning , He listens to prayers 24/7 but depends on how you do it, if it doesnt come from the heart he wont hear it , if a person ask for money,cars,houses, etc he wont hear you thats not what you should be asking for, God is a Loving father to everyone, but people dont have faith in Jehovah God,

THERE NEVER and E THING CALLED AN UNANSWERED PRAYER. “NO” IS AN ANSWER, AND WHEN YOU PRAY FOR SOMETHING YOU WANT, AND YOU GET THE “NO” ITS BECAUSE IT’S NOT RIGHT FOR YOU. GOD EXISTS AND BECAUSE HE’S AN AMZING SPIRIT THAT HE IS, HE DOESNT NEED SLEEP, HE ISNT A HUMAN LIKE US.

GOD IS THE FATHER ,THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, HE IS 3 IN 1 , HE’S THE beginning AND THE END! but god does answer prayers it just takes a great walk with god to hear his answer through your soul/heart!

If God exists, and is, in fact, the amazing creature he has been portrayed as being, what on earth makes you think he would need to sleep?

Because God is not a normal human being like us who needs sleep, in fact he isn’t neccessarily a ‘he’ as no-one knows who or what God is. Who even knows if such a thing exists?

You know, there is a really simple answer: he isn’t real.

Then pray that your death has no suffering

God doesn’t answer, because there are no gods. Humans made up the idea.

he’s God, He can do anything (: and sometimes Gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers..

I saw some comments saying G-d is the father, son and holy spirit..I respect everyones religion but G-d is ONE, indivisible ONE he cant be three because thats polytheism he is just ONE and he’s not a human being and he doesn’t have a body..you cant physically see him or touch him..he’s a spiritual being. Now all humans need to sleep but like I said before he is not human, he doesn’t have human needs like having to sleep or feeling hungry..he cant feel physical pain..just like he cant die…or live in human form
