Why dont we like to be tickled?

When we get tickeld we laugh,

And we like laughing, but

Why dont we like to be tickled then?

laughing is just a natural reaction to an action

if you eat over-salted water your grimace is the same

Answer #2

I like being tickled

Answer #3

being tickled has a lot to do with domination. When you are being tickled, whoever is doing it asserts domination on you, and you are pretty much helpless to stop it… it’s kinda like being raped. It can also be considered abuse. I’ve been tickled to the point of crying.

Answer #4

well I know I HATEEE being tickled I dont like any part of my stomach being touched..I also dont like my legs being touched, although that also has a lot to do with the eating disorder I have come to develope. I don’t know maybe you just dont like the way it feels…

Answer #5

I love being tickled! I look at it as a sign of affection~ But when I don’t want affection from certain people I don’t like them tickling me.

Answer #6

depends on who’s tickeling me, why they’re tickling me, when they’re tickling me, and where they’re tickling me… depends on my mood sometimes… but in general I like being tickled, oh ya I almost forgot… when I was younger I used to LOVE it when someone tickles me… now, I don’t feel comfertable when someone tickles me, I don’t know why, but I just don’t like it when someone touches me… besides, some people just don’t know how to tickle, that’s what makes it more like a “touch” to me

Answer #7

I don’t like to be tickled. Half the time I don’t even like to be touched unless it’s close members of my family. But touching is not the same as making someone laugh. The whole tickling and laughing thing is to do with reaction. It jolts the brain into shock, which tells you to react to being touched this way. The main reaction for a sudden shock is laughter. Although there are some people whose brains react in a different way, sometimes by making them burst into tears. It depends on how used to the situation the person is.
