I’m like that too. I’m quiet and shy. But, at home or with my friends I am totaly diff. though I have always been shy. luckaly though I am not as shy as I used to be. When I was a little kid I would not even talk to the teacher.

ok. Here is my suggestion. When you are feeling awkward, or not like you really are being who you are…go into your self and accept that that is the way you are feeling. Don’t try to be anything, just accept that you are feeling the way you are feeling. Even if you continue to act the way that you are in school, accept that…accepting it will help you (the real you) to separate from it. You can do other things to help you get away from the fake you. Like name the feeling you have when you are acting different at school. That will help you accept it, and separate from that falseness. You can also think about what color you associate with it…anything that gets you to go internally and deal with it, will help you to accept you, then you can be you.
And actually acknowledging that you have this dilemma is a huge step in being the real you and aware, but you must accept the truth that is, even if its something you aren’t’ comfortable with. once you accept it, it creates a space for you to be in, and you’ll be more comfortable.
