why does My Ipod Freezes periodicly?

ok my ipod freezes periodicly like the music will still play but the keypad woint do anything?

Ok, it’s a minor freeze.However to solve this you need to turn the lock off and hold the center button and press menu at the same time,it might take up to 10 seconds but give it time then it will show the apple icon and then it will be unfrozen
