why does my dog wake up with her eyes glued shut with mucus?
everymorning my husband has to wipe my dogs eyes with a warm cloth so she can open them . She is like 8 years old and has lots of mucus around her eyes
There is an injury, or an infection in her eyes…get her to the Vet…the meds are inexpensive, easy to put into the eye, and will preserve her eyesight…WTH???
Pink eye is HIGHLY contagious…to people too…GET HER TO THE VET!!

Your dog might have an eye infection or possibly maybe pink eye. Its nothing to worry about, I would take your dog to the vet to get medication though.
I have seen dogs eyes do that before. It can be from age, illness, or just dirty eyes. But just to be safe you might want to take your dog to the vet.
