True Satanism, as taught by Anton LeVay (founder of the church of Satan), does not ‘worship’ the devil as much as it worships the self. I am a Christian that has been studying Christianity versus other religions for about twenty years, and I do have a copy of the Satanic Bible. Really, Levay’s Satanism is nothing more than self-deification. You make yourself your own god with nothing else to answer to.

If you read LeVay’s Satanic Bible, the entire thing is glorifying the self… do what you want (another common statement among black magicians and occultists) which has invaded our everyday philosophies. However, In addition to making yourselves gods, he goes so much further with the ‘theatrics of using Satanic symbolism and rituals’ to appall and disgust Christians. The theatrics are merely to get a rise out of organized religion and the public in general.

The Satanic Bible states (under their version of the 10 commandments) shocking and blasphemous things such as ‘I gaze into the glassy eye of your fearsome Jehovah, and pluck him by the beard; I uplift a broad-axe, and split open his worm-eaten skull!’. Another statement reads… “Look at the crucifix; what does it symbolize? Pallid incompetence hanging on a tree.” Many more statements of garbage are located in this horrible book. LeVay is now dead. He will have to answer to his writings in front of God.

There are other forms of Satanism that truly do believe in an actual ‘Satan’… the Temple of Set church is a perfect example (Set was the dark egyptian deity equivalent to our understanding of Satan). This ‘church/religion’ is extremely dark and dangerous. Likewise, many ‘individuals’ dabbling in the occult and black magic too worship an actual dark lord. This may explain some of the worst crimes in history taking place and increasing in these end times. As Jesus Christ once said, turmoil will increase greatly in the last days, as a woman’s birthpangs increase in intensity and frequency.

If you look at occultists and Satanists throughout history, you will learn that many of their teachings are now being taught and accepted throughout the United States. Hundreds of rock musicians are playing with Satanism and witchcraft (notice how I separated the two because they are different), new age mysticism (such as Cabala, Scientology, divination, etc.) and more. It is pretty staggering when you look deeper at today’s stars such as Elvis, Stones, Beatles, Ozzy, Hall & Oates, Fleetwood Mac, 311, Doors, Led Zeppelin, U2, Creed, Madonna, Styx, Brittney Spears, Tupac, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Kid Rock, Metallica, DMX and more.

Well I believe in him in the fact that hes real I know he exists, but I dont worship him, cuss thats stupid and we all know God is the only powerful person and not him…and yeah…but there are pplz who worship him cuss they been fooled by the devil and the devil told them that he will save them but its a lie…but pplz should live for God and not the devil just forget he even exists…pertend only God does

well, why do people worship religions? A simple answer, for most they’re just weak minded and are looking for something to answer their questions, such as things like why was I so cursed to this existence? Or how was this whole universe created by starting with nothing? You know, very hard to answer almost impossible questions. A lot of people also believe because they’re looking for something to guide them in the right direction, pretty pathetic if you ask me, but eh. Anyway I hope I helped answer your question, by the way people probably believe in the devil for similar reasons they worship religions, only those reasons are probably modified a little. Personally I find the idea of religion, a super being(like a god I guess), the devil, and other things like that ridiculous.

Even the devil believes IN God. BELIEVE God and live. All bad thoughts come from the devil. All good comes from God. All the devil wants to do is kill, steal, and destroy. First your friends, your family, then you. Have you EVER had ANY bad thoughts…so have I! Forgiveness is nowhere the devil can go. He flees from people who truly do not hate people. Of course, you can still hate the bad actions of people, you still love the person, but hate the actions. There is a huge misconception about hating people and actions!!

What I think you are saying is Worshipping the devil, not believing. Most all Christians believe the devil exist. Its all part of the plan. The true worshippers are convince the devil will make an honest deal with them. and he never does, he is the great deceiver. But he will create his army of all these worshipers, and fight God in Armagedon. Its all part of the Bible prophesy.

I’m totally in agreement with the guy on the one above my answer. In fact I’d like to learn more from him haha I love studying the religionous war between God and satan all though I’m all for christianity baptist in particular. The only thnx I dont understand is if people are looking for answers and they find satan their answer then in their research they should find that God is stronger, He created satan , and He ALWAYS wins! I know satan manupulates their minds and stuff but how could someone be so clueless as to how close they are to finding the real God that we are to worship but then by me saying that I also have to say even people who believe in satan know God exist otherwise there wold be no reason for Satan to hate God and no reason for their religion at all. There are just so many reasons you could look at… Its like telling a Buddhist to worship God because we have proof in the Bible well they have a book to so it doesnt really help but then you can say well even scientist admit to knowing there was a man names Jesus who walked earth 2,000 years ago claiming to be God’s Son but then they can say well Muhammad and that other guy ( I can’t think of the founders name) they walked the earth to and wrote books about their “power” its just a lot of confusing perpectives but anyone can look outside and realize we didn’t get here from the big bang theory bc someone had to create the moleciles in the things that hit to supposedly create the world. Everything turns back to God in the end but some people are just blind and stubborn and dont want the truth.
