Why do I lie so much?

Just a hypothesis. At some point lying got you what you wanted and you were rewarded for it. Also, you obviously dont feel you are as good as other people and so you lie in attempt to make yourself look better. Because you dont think people will accept you or care about you if they knew the truth about you…

Think more before you speak. Make sure what your about to say is the truth, if people like you for lies there not even real friends. It’s always more easy to remember the truth then a lie.

When you lie say WAIT I WAS LYING and tell the truth it will make you feel better and you will not be in so much trouble Im a liar too. but when I lie I fell bad and when I tell the truth I feel better and it makes it easier on me :) good luck

Well, Your just used to lying. Lying isn’t the best thing to do. The truth is. It may be hard, and it does have consiquenses. Just think about what would happen if you got caught lying, just think about how much MORE trouble you would be in. My advice to you, would be to starting thinking before you speak. I don’t know what religion you are, but in our house we honor God, and he def, doesn’t like lying. So just think about what you say before you say it. :]
