Why can't my teachers see sense?
I got into trouble at school today for messing about in english and got a detention for monday,the problem I got is on monday after school its soccer training and if you don’t go you can’t be picked for the next match and I love playing soccer,so I tried to explain this to my english teacher,but she would not listen and just said I should have throught about that before my behaviour in her class,so I ask my pe teacher to have a word with her but he just said that I let myself down and the team,but its sooo easy to work out I do this stupid detention on tuesday then I don’t miss training on monday and I don’t let the team down,why can’t my teachers see sense and let me do this ???

Your teacher can see sense. You obviously dont care about doing the detention. Detention is meant to be a punishment. I.e. it is to stop you from doing that particular behavior again. If you dont care about doing the detention, it is absolutely pointless. So your teacher has found something that is actually punishing - keeping you away from soccer. It would be stupid of her to move the detention. Next time, perhaps you wont stop her from doing what she really wants to do - teach her class in peace. Consider it a lesson learned.
Skip the detention. What’s the worst she can do? Give you another one or two?
Oh… there’s not much you can do about it then. Guess you will just have to skip that match =[
cause its their way of trying to get you to not get in to trouble then oyu wouldn’t get put in that position
Get a note from a parent or guardian … that always works.
