Why can't I get along with my Mom?
why cna’t I get along with my mom? I’ve never really gotten along with her well but it keeps getting worse & worse. I know maybe it’s a “teen thing” but idt it is because we’ve NEVER gotten along. ever since I was young I can remember fighting with her. is it bad that I just don’t care anymore & her yelling & disapiontment means nothing to me? yes. it is. it’s very bad but honestly I don’t care because she’s practically crazy. I can’t stand herrr. what should I do? should I try to start caring again? ha. well I’m moving out soon anyway so does it really matter?
I have the exact same problem and have had it since I was pretty much like 10 years old or even younger. I dont think me and her will ever be friends or really close, but still, it’s your mom so you have to find some way to deal with it. tell her that she gets on your nerves easily so that she gives you more space. maybe it will help. that’s what I did with my mom, it’s better now but still not great. xx hope I helped :)
Yes it matters, try to act like your not mad or anything, just breathe if you happen to see or walk by her. If she starts something.. count to five or ten several times. Good luck
