Why are models forced to lose weight to get a job?

because curvy = fat…and nobody wants to see fat models. I agree that models nowadays are too thin, but putting fat chicks on the runways isn’t any better. maybe fat people are more motivated when they see super skinny girls catwalking. there’s laws in effect now that limit the thinness of runway models. steps are being taken. -also, if people don’t like girls being that thin, they just wouldn’t date them! I don’t like them that skinny, so I don’t date chicks that small. kind of like natural selection. lastly, I think that in the grand scheme of things, skinny chicks are the least of our concerns.

while there are plus sized modles around its the stick thin ones who get more recognition they all need to be thin because the media and fashion industry promotes this in there minds thin=beaustiful and they make clothes that are especially for very think girls who are also very tall… but this kind of person isnt what youd normally see walking down the street thats because pretty much everyones image of the perfcet body is incorrect especially that of the fashion industrys and even more so with models they all need to be stick thin so they can promote all these “perfect” clothes…that all hang off what they consider the “perfect body” its a sick thing, and all those people tend to be vanity wh*res

It’s so you can put them in your luggage without having to pay the over 50 pound penalty.

I think its becuase if you cant fit into a dress then you cant model it…
