who// ok so someone was telling me albert einstein was wrong?

ok so my friend was telling me that albert einstein was wrong about 90% of his stuff. I dont really believe it…so who knows if he was more wrong or more right?

Certainly he was wrong about many things, but at the time that he made his discoveries, there was no way to disprove them, so for his time - he was right.

However, his discoveries led to new discoveries, so even though he may not have been correct on everything, he was on the right track.

You are never, ever going to get a group of physicists together and have them all agree that any theory, Einstein’s or no, are correct or incorrect. Many theories are absolutely impossible to prove or disprove without being granted absolute control over time and space. Unless your friend is an absolute physics savant that can back up such a sweeping claim with hard evidence, the proper response is to pat him gently on the hand, coo, ‘’There, there, don’t hurt yourself,’’ and keep playing Xbox.

Sir Isaac Newton famously said, “If I have been able to see farther than others it is because I stood on the shoulders of giants.”

Today we know that Newton’s law of gravitation is not 100% right. Einstein was able to see a little further than Newton did with his theory of relativity.

Now there are scientists who seen farther than Einstein.

Does this mean that Newton and Einstein aren’t giants in science? Of course not! They both greatly extended scientific knowledge and laid the foundation for later theories; some of which even invalidated their own.
