Who has a strict mum like mine?

No it is illigal so that is right I mean go check that with the law and you will find the truth the minor things that can be done are babysitting anf pet walking. Wich what her mom is not letting it happen.

The best thing to do is let her you have a mom who cares and want to take you far just behappy she even cares.

Err… its pretty much against the law to get a job when you are 13, apart from babysitting or paper round, so why bother? Be thankful you have a mum. Just think of all the people suffering in the world, and you are moaning about not being able to get a job.

I have a rather strict mum too, she wudnt let me get a paper round lol. anywayz, why don’t you show her how responsible you can be by doing housework such as cleaning, washing up feeding your pet (if you have one)… just do watevr you can to show her how responsible you r :)

@ iamsantaslittlehelper It isn’t against the law, it is perfectly legal. But you just can’t work more then so many hours a week.

To the OP It sounds like your mom doesn’t have too much faith in you. I doubt trying to prove your responsible would work because she would figure out why your doing it. All I can say is try to talk her into letting you do it. Your 13 and should have a basic understanding on how to babysit and walk dogs. Just try to sit your mom down and calmly try to tell her why you think you can do these things and that you need the experience.
