Which is correct and proper?

My teeth do hurt? Or my teeth does hurt?

Answer #1

What sika said, in an acknowledgement (I.e. yes they do) you would say my teeth do hurt, but in a general statement it’s just my teeth hurt

Answer #2

Depends on the context. If it’s confirming to another that your teeth hurt then it is “My teeth do hurt” if you’re making a general statement about your teeth hurting then it is “My teeth hurt” (no need for “do” …”does” is wrong in either format)

Hope that makes sense!
