What to take as over the counter depression medicine?

I’m going through a really bad break up and I’m extremely depressed. I was wondering if there are any over the counter depression medicine? Ps” I can’t go see a dr. I won’t have health insurance until june 1st

im on the depo provera birth control shot. it wont work still?

There are low cost clinics you can go see a psychiatrist at… why not look into those?

There is a natural supplement called 5HTP that can help you. You can buy it from pretty much any drugstore. It increases seratonin (the happy chemical) in your brain. Take a decent-sized amount, I’d suggest 300-400mg / day. Good luck.

St Johns worth can also help with depression. Just beware if you are on the pill or any other hormonal treatment that st John’s worth will cause it to stop being effective.

Also some vitamin B will help boost your mood together with magnesium.

Rather not take St John’s worth with the depo provera shot. If you do, first ask your pharmacist of doctor. As far as I know it makes it less effective.

Have you heard of CALM. It is a magnesium calcium drink. Any health food store carries it.

Rather than a Doctor possibly try Dianetics. Go to DianeticsTampa.org

They may be able to help. You don’t need a Dr. for Dianetics, you do it yourself. The DVD that shows you how to do it only costs $20 but it really works. Good luck. Let me know how it works out.
