When can I take off my earrings after getting them peirced?

hey, so I got my ears peirced about 2 months ago and I changed them to silver ones after 6 weeks but my mom says that I cant take these off for a day or two otherwise my ears can fill in or something and I will have to get them peirced again, but I dont think that I have to wear them permanantly for months, so what should I do now, can I take them off for a day?

Ok, I have 13 ear piercings and I actually changed a couple of mine after just a couple weeks of having them pirced. :p But the best thing to do is to wait 8 weeks before taking them out and dont leave them out for longer than say over night for a month after changing them. And it is possible that it could scab up and be painful putting them back in. And it might form a hardish ball inside where your ear piercing is(which is scar tissue), if you leave it out to long, but if that happens just leave your earings in at all times, except take them out once a day to clean your earings and ears until it goes away. It takes a looonnnggg time for your body to get used to earings cus it is basically a foreign object in your body that your ears are constanly trying to get rid of. Even after having my ears pierced for 3 years I took my earings out for a month straight and a got a hard ball thing from it. :P

you should wear them at least for 6 weeks, so your mom is probably wrong. contact where you got them pierced, or check their web. it should say there.. Hope it helped! x]

the most you could take them out for is a day though they will most likley close up a tiny bit meaning youll have to push the earring back through (which could hurt a little) so just try a few hours or overnight first dont leave them out for a few days because they will close up youll need to have had the earring in for 6 months before there fully healed around the piercing and then youll be able to leave them out for a few days

you changed to the silver ones in a correct time but you should leave them in for at least a week preferably 2 weeks. definitely don’t keep earrings out of your ears for longer than 2 days, but even then you might need to re-pierce

WELL AFTER you GET your EARS PIERCED you SHOUKD WEAR THEM FORA WHILE JUST TO GET your EAR USE TO WEARING EARINGS???
