When can I eat regular food after a tongue piercing?

I just got my tongue peirced yesterday, is there anything I shouldnt eat? And when can I eat anything again? Thanx yall

Not too sure. I’ve only had my navel done. But I’ll just go by common sense.

Normally they would give you a leaflet on how to care for the piercing and the general do’s and don’ts (this might include what you can eat and such) or check google or any sites about piercings.

I doubt that anything would really be in close contact with the open wound as the ‘ball stop’ covers it, so you can eat most foods. Just avoid things that can catch it, like pasta, or salt (ouch)
