In the past, women were advised to douche to prevent pregnancy when used right after sex, to treat vaginal infections, to wash away vaginal secretions, and to reduce odors.
exactly what I want to know. from reading other posts tho it seems to be some sort of cleaning thing having to do with private parts of the body.
