What's the point in trying If you already know you're going to fail all your exams?

Answer #1

The point is TO try! I have exams soon and had a couple this week. I was convinced I wan’t going to do good but then I started revising and believing in myself and when I sat my exams they were fine, I did the best I could and I am confident I didn’t do so bad. The thing is to try, you won’t get anywhere in life if you do not try. Believe in yourself! All the best and good luck in your exams! :) x

The least you can do is try. I mean, if you fail, you fail, but why not put in at least some effort? In doing so, you’ll increase your chances of passing. I know exams can be really frustrating, but you might surprise yourself by working hard and trying your best. It would be pointless not to try. Get a good night sleep beforehand!

Good advice already given. The only thing I can add is – if you don’t try and scrape through, this could be something you end up regretting next year.

Answer #4

the best thing is you are trying

Answer #5

You think your going to fail, but if you try, keep a positive attitude you might just find out that you remember more than you thought. Sometimes all it takes is working your way trough things to figure out eventually what you are doing. Plus if you fail you can at least leave with a little satisfaction that you tried your hardest.

My experience: Last school year(9th grade), I fell sick for a whole moth. We didn’t know what was wrong with me and I was sure I was going to die. It was really serious and I missed alot at school. But we later found out that the doctor had prescribed wayy to much antibiotics so yeah he point is I was fine after that. So the day I started going back to school, I realized I only had 5 more days to prepare for my exams and I didn’t know anything. I told my teachers that I didn’t wanna give the exams and they told me to try. I tried. I was sure I would fail I mean I had missed a whole month, how could I catch up on it in 5 days? But guess who got the highest grades and did the best at class? ME! Exams are made so that the teacher can understand how much you’ve learnt. Just revise and try to understand what your teacher explains in class:) then try your best and ur bound to get good results:)

In school I never applied myself, which I regret. But a lt of tests I faild cause I didn’t study. & I always thought I was going to fail my exams as well, and I never failed one of them, I always passed. But get a friend and study a bit, exams are pretty easy theres other factors to bring your grade up to make you pass like your current grade in that class. Just take your time and concertrate. I was always one of the last ones to finish an exam, I re-read everything very carfully. You don’t wanna fail and have to repeat that class and be behind your other peers. or even have to repeat a grade and not graduate with your friends, makes you embarrassed.

Answer #8

do you have a magic crystal ball? No, you dont. so do you know your going to fail? No, you dont. what would be the point of life if no one tried? There wouldn’t be one. try and be happy with your results because you tried. if you dont then you will never know what could of been and you will regret it.
