What should I do to get rid of this horrible feeling when I know I'm going to fail chemistry tomorrow?

Im having mock exams at the moment… yea mocks xD haha, i study a lot and been doing really good in all of them. I want to be a geologist when im older and chemistry is probably important for this carrer choice. I studied for chemistry, probably not as much as m other subjects but i did do a lot on it….. thing is i have the knowledge but cant put it to use in questions :/ tomorrow is my chemistry mock and im a complete disaster right now…. to me its an important subject. My parents are telling me they understand and that it doesnt matter if i fail a mock exam because its not the real one and people fail exams in their life time. Right after the mocks im planning to get a utor and revise every week so that i can pass my IGCSE chem. What should i do right now with this horrible feeling i have of failing, as if im just disappointing and failed myself? :/

I know what you mean. I felt like that when my grades were not so hot for my first sememster. I’m a staight A student you see so it really got me down. But then I stared to think about how I tried my best and that is really all that I could have done. Yes I probably could have skipped on some dates during the weekend to study and yes I could have spent all day and night studying my head off to ace the tests and finals. But I thought about How when after I had done all that I would probably a successful lawyer but I would look back on my highchool life and see a girl who spent all of it at home studying and stressing out. It really doesnt matter. Do the best you can. If you miss points learn from it and study the area that you didnt do so well on. Prepare for real life and for what matters not for a score on a paper that you will probably forget anyway. Think about how you already passed the test because you at least tried. Unlike those people who dont even care, that’s what really matters. Hope you feel better about it. It sounds like you wont do so bad form what you have written. You sound like a good student.

I had my mocks before Christmas, and I work hard, but I stupidly left revision to the night before for every single exam. Not good. And I had that feeling as well, and it kind of just hits you now and then, and makes you feel bad. But seriously, all you can do is your best. I know people say that all the time, but it’s true. Okay, so for this mock, you aren’t feeling as prepared as you want to feel. But that’s the good thing, it’s just a mock. And it really is just to practice. It lets you know what you need to improve on for the real things. You shouldn’t worry about it. You’ll be fine! Just think of the work that you have done towards the mock as a basis to build on for the real thing. Just relax. Good luck! :)

I have biology tomorrow. Good Luck ^^ You will do fine. Just relax, have a nice bath, early bed and get your friends or parents to ask questions.

Try to do something you like to do. Tell yourself it is not the end of the world.
