What will happen in the afterlife?

how about heaven? there is an after life and your choice here on earth determine where you go. except Jesus and you will know where you are going.

I, personally, believe in rebirth and that my actions in this life affect what life I will lead in lives to follow.

In the end, we all need to believe in what makes us feel secure, and readily able to accept death as a natural part of life.

well to be honest with you no one really knows. not even the people that were dead for a mintue. everyone has a different perspective on what happens after you die. some say you come back and something else and some say you go to heaven. we don’t know for sure. but I like to keep it at a open posibility. when you think of it, theres no real reason to know what happens later on, whats the use of that? so you wwon’t be afraid? so you can prepare yourself? well I don’t think its something to be afraid of or something you can prepare yourself for. life is just something to miss not something to be afraid of leaving.

When you die, you quit living in any sense. There is no afterlife.

Ecclesiastes9:5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even the memory of them is forgotten.

When you die you wont be concience at all. it will be like a sleep without dreams.

As for heaven and hell the Bible tells us that Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (this will happen when Christ returns)

God loves you and wants you to go to heaven. “…I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:3

No one is in hell now. When Christ returm he will judge who will end up there. Sadly they will burn but not forever cause the Word tells us that “And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 4:3

Sodom is an example as to what hell will be like. Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

The Bible calls this fire eternal fire, yet the fire does not exist today. it is only alluding to the result of the the fire. the punishment is eternal meaning, the city is gone forever. Its the same way with hell, the punishment will be forever meaning the people will be gone forever but the fire wont last forever.

How do you know yours is the one? Of the thousands of religions that have existed from the beginning of civilization, what makes you think only yours is the right one? And if thousands of religions are not true, what makes you think any of them are?

GOD will ask you after death for every mistake you did

hell was created for the devil and his angels. 2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

But men sinned and joined in Satans punishment. Before man sinned God told them the consequences.if you check Genesis the only rule God gave man was not to eat from a particulat tree. God did this to give man the power fo choice.

Genesis 2:17 “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

But becasue God loves us and does not want to us to go to hell, He offered a solution.

Don’t Christians claim their god is just and loving? How is torturing the vast majority of the human race for all eternity just, or loving, or even proportional to any sin anyone could conceivably commit?

To be honest here. I have no idea. but once you have hope in yourself and faith in what you believe in. you’ll see and you’ll live life happily ever after. Yet again. I think when we die our body stay on earth and turn back into the dust that god used to make us. Our soul would eventually rise to heaven: but I don’t know what will happen from there.

God will not punish people for eternity. Unfortunatey some people have misreperesented the character of God by saying He will do this but I assure you He wont. people will just burn and turn to ash just like a fire burns paper into ash.

Secondly, God has warned that there is a hell and He tells us how to avoid it. If God were to put everyone in heaven, good and bad alike, it will be like recreating earth with all its evils. Heaven is a reward. Just like you have to put in work to recieve a salary, you also have to meet the requirements to get there.

with that said. people who have commited sin like murder, adultery, prostitution, homosexuality, lying you name it can enter heaven. becasue there is no sin too great that God cant forgive. all you have to do is humble yourself before God and ask for forgiveness and ask Him for help to abstain from these acts. He will strenghthen you.

So no believing in something that there is no proof of is enough of a crime to put you in hell? And you think that this god of yours deserves your worship. If he actually existed, I would consider him a twisted, evil, cruel and hateful SOB.

And anyone who thinks that that would be ok to send perfectly good people to hell simply because they couldn’t believe in such a fantastic story, is just as cruel and twisted.

There has not been one event that has happened in history that was accurately predicted thousands of years ago. Of course anyone could look at some vague references, like in revelations, and can interpret it anyway they want so it fits some actual event. Certainly is not proof of anything miraculous or supernatural.

No one knows what happens to you when you when you die but there are heaps of that can happen to you it’s just what you believe in some say when you die you come back as an animal and some say you go to heaven or it depends on how you die. So how knows.
