Who believes there's an afterlife?

God says that the ‘dead know not anything’ and that they ‘sleep’ There are 55 verses in the Bible that state such.

The Lord does not want people to think their dead friends and family comes for a visit. God makes sure that you know the ‘state of the dead’ because during these last days, Satan will impersonate the dead to confuse the living and to get them thinking lies that’ll lead them away from God. The after life seems kind of silly to me, why cant we just be there. Why make all these bad people and good people suffer on earth. Plenty of suffering :-(

Life is great but we do have to pay for it, threw pain. Some people just live terrible life’s and if you ask me its uncalled for. I definitely wouldn’t want to be in heaven if my mom, dad, or bother, sister was in hell, thats just sad. So I just hope for the best while I enjoy and not enjoy my life her on earth, Just make the best of it and try to make my self and other happy.

I think afterlife is real and the living don’t know about this because it is a test to see if you are worthy to go to afterlife.

Living people can know about “the afterlife”. I know about it, but seriously “the afterlife” You right now are technically living in the afterlife, because your life right now has taken place after a previous life. So what do you mean by an afterlife? Everything that has happened after your first life? Is that what you call an afterlife. Because if that is so then you, me, and everyone else is already experiencing the afterlife.

The only thing that makes me think there is an afterlife is people who have skills in talking to the dead in reading and they say that they are happy where they are.

“God and Reincarnation?”

  I believe that God is a Creative Entity, Energy or Force that is found in a state of awareness outside of the universe and time.

I believe that God chose to morph part of Itself into minute particles of Itself described as entities or spirits and gave them the purpose to go forth and experience, gain knowledge and eventually return into the Oneness of God.

I believe that those collective entities created the universe and, utilizing evolution as a tool, created that that is life so that they could inhabit various bodies in order to gain experience and knowledge.

Prior to incarnating into a physical body the entity chooses what it wants to accomplish and what the probable circumstances involving that body and its environment will be. When the situation is right the entity then begins to dwell within the physical body, probably around the time of its birth.

When the body dies the entity dwells in a state of awareness where it can see whether it met its goals and what gains and losses it may have attached to its being. It then, again, decides what future goals it wants to achieve and reincarnates when the conditions are appropriate.

Ultimately, after incarnating as many times as necessary to attain its goals, the entity gravitates back into the Oneness of God adding to the fulfillment thereof.

I chose to be born, to live or die, Even the sex, that would be I; I chose the race, from which to appear, Also my wealth, my health and my fear.

I chose my trials and stumbling blocks, And the legs I would use, in all of those walks; I chose my sadness, my joy and my love, I chose to serve and not be above.

I do, I mean what’s the point of living if there is nothing after death, if I didn’t believe in an afterlife, and I believed that we just die and nothing else..than I probably would have killed myself long ago, becuase if things had happened in my life such as, parent’s divorce, death, etc. , than I could just end my life and go lie in the ground, but there’s more to life than just dying.

No one who is currently alive knows what happens after we die. Near death experiences have been shown to be the result of chemical activity in the brain, which can actually occur right after someone has been pronounced clinically dead, or certainly when they are comatose.

If you’re going to believe someone that they have visited the afterlife, it requires pure faith on your part. There is absolutely no demonstratable evidence of an afterlife. If there was, we’d all agree on what it is.

In response to the OP, no, there’s no afterlife, no reincarnation, nada. This is the only life you’ve ever had, or ever will have, and when you die, you simply cease to exist forever more.

The real truth is NOBODY KNOWS.

I believe there is an after life. I wasn’t really sure about it until I started reading and listening to Sylvia Brown.

I like to thinka after you die your soul is born again with a clean slate, and you can try and fix all the things you have done wrong in your past life.. and the reason people dont know about it.. well I just dont know
