There isn't really a sure way except for having sex to tell if it has been broken or not. Most girls can get fingered and insert tampons fine, but when it comes to sex they still have an intact hymen.
Your hymen is located just at the opening of your vagina.
Stick your finger up there.. if it goes about 4 inches or so without your finger being stopped by a thin tissue, your hymen has most likely already been broken.
