mikeh is right. spanish is the 3rd most common language in the world NOT 2nd. I would choose spanish and im actually taking spanish class now.

well I wud personally choose spanish over french because you don’t need to worry bout accents as much - accents being those diagonal lines ova vowels :P

Spanish is the second most popular language in the world. It depends on how much time you devote to learning. Watch a lot of spanish TV, listen to spanish music, and initiate conversation with spanish natives. They will laugh at the accent but they will correct you…1 year if your young is my guess. If you are an adult you should be good in 2 to 3 years (intensive).

Spanish is NOT the 2nd most spoken language in the world, only in the US. English is the 2nd most spoken language globally, after Mandarin Chinese. After English comes Spanish, then Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, and French.
