What program will help me to write?

I have been wanting to write a book but I’m really bad at english, things like grammar, spelling and pountuation. I was woundering if anyone knew of any free programas to help me write.

I think it would be best to learn about grammar, punctuation, and diction first. there are a lot of english grammar lessons online. I am not a native english speaker and I wanted to improve my english so when I was in college, I started reading this: http://nutsandbolts.washcoll.edu/ there are tons of resources there.

spell check helps but you know, sometimes it doesnt really understand what you’re trying to say. its better if you’re the one who knows how to edit your own work. :-)

once you know the basics (structure, punctuation, etc), you may proceed with emotive language and such so that you can write descriptively (aside from a solid plot, this makes the novels interesting).
